Spending the night in room Mauzac, Braucol or Négrette – the names of authentic wine grape varieties from the Sud-Ouest decorate your room door. A complete renovation during the winter season 2014-2015, and the atmosphere of the original Manor House comes back to life. The original wooden floors are back in polishing wax, the completely redesigned bathrooms are at the same time extremely practical and comfortable and each room was given a unique private touch which you will surely long time recall.
Room Mauzac is a double room with a private bathroom with bath and bidet. Room Braucol is a double room with a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Room Négrette is our family room: a suite with two separate, interlinked bedrooms and a private bathroom with walk-in shower.
Each morning we serve breakfast with fresh bread and croissants, butter, jam, cheese and ham, coffee or tea and delicious fruit juice based on bio apple juice from the neighbouring village Gignac. Alternately you will have on top some fresh fruit or home-made fantasies such as yogurt, apple pie, cake, an egg or a pancake.
Do you love this breakfast but would you prefer also a private seating area, an equipped kitchen and a private terrace? You can, during low season, go for a deluxe room (room Manseng and room Colombard). This luxury bedroom combines all the advantages of a gîte with those of a guest room. You will get, as you may expect from a bed & breakfast, a complete breakfast offer, a nicely made bed and a bathroom with all the requisites. On top of all this you will have a private sitting area, an equipped kitchen and a private terrace with barbecue.
Would you like to have dinner with us? With pleasure! Several times a week you can find us behind the kitchen stove preparing a three-course menu for you: appetizer, starter, main course and cheese or dessert. We always use fresh ingredients and local products. Especially with a goose farmer and a goat cheese maker around the corner, we can use the opportunity to integrate fresh local products in our cuisine. Please note that our table d’hôte is by reservation only. The price is fixed at € 25 per person, all inclusive.
The dining room remains accessible all day. You will find, in addition to a small library with a lot of information on the beautiful Dordogne valley region, a refrigerator for common use. If you want to have a picnic in the garden, you can use our plates and glasses that are available in the dining room for situations like this.
